The Lake Granbury Ministerial Alliance (LGMA) conducts a Thanksgiving service the Sunday evening before Thanksgiving to worship God and express our gratitude to Him for all He has done and is doing in our lives, our community and our Nation.  This is a community event that is held in one of our Hood County churches.

An offering is taken for the benefit of People Helping People, a local benevolence charity that was started by LGMA in the early 1980s, but which is now a separate ministry.
