Our normal LGMA luncheon meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the month at noon. Food is normally provided, but occasionally we meet at a restaurant. In such cases, each person pays for themselves.
Our January luncheon will be hosted at noon on Tuesday, January 21 by Hope Community Church. Hope Community Church is located at 1341 East Highway 377 (behind Granbury Nails Bar) in Granbury.
Our speaker this month will be Traci Cooper-Ives, Program Director of Many Mansions, a nonprofit dedicated to providing God’s help, hope, and healing to single moms in Hood, Johnson, and Somervell Counties. She will speak to us about Many Mansions and how we can help with their mission.
Before joining Many Mansions, Traci worked as the Director of Education at the Paluxy River Children’s Advocacy Center, where she equipped adults to recognize the signs and symptoms of child abuse and empowered children by teaching personal body safety and internet safety.
A certified teacher, Traci has a diverse background in service-oriented roles. She previously served as the Preschool Director at her church and as an Outreach Case Manager at the Gladney Center for Adoption.
A proud Red Raider, Traci earned her degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Texas Tech University. With a heart for Jesus and people, Traci has spent her career in roles that allow her to serve others and share God’s love. She is a natural connector, an effective communicator, and a gifted leader.
When she’s not working, Traci enjoys leading a small group at StoneWater Church, celebrating and encouraging her two daughters, son-in-law, three stepchildren and their spouses, and grandson. She also cherishes quiet moments with her husband, Jeff, who brings joy and balance to her life.
Please RSVP by clicking this link no later than noon, FRIDAY, January 17.
