The Ministerial Alliance functions to facilitate unity among the ministries, and within the community. We have several community events throughout the year, including the Lake Granbury Christmas Parade, the Thanksgiving Community Outreach – Which is a Sunday Night Service that raises funds for People Helping People (an organization founded by the Alliance).

The High School Baccalaureate Program is also sponsored each year by the Lake Granbury Ministerial Alliance. In 2011 we added a Scholarship Fund, wherewith we provide scholarships to graduating students who have identified a desire to pursue biblical studies.

We also have activities like the National Day of Prayer Breakfast, the Black History Unity Program, and of course, our monthly informative luncheons. Weekly coffee is for fellowship and encouragement / support.

Throughout the year we have many guest speakers at our luncheons, and look to continue providing supportive programs and services to the community of Pastors.

Projects in work include the, “Meet the Pastor” television program with Host Dennis O’Neal. Pilot episodes for this program are in post-production, and should air on Granbury channel 27 in January.

Another project underway includes the, “Lake Granbury Ministerial Alliance Directory of Christian Churches.” This directory is being assembled as a resource for newcomers to the area, and features informational spots from all of our member churches. The Directory is being sponsored by the local business community. This project is progressing on schedule, and should go to press sometime in January.

Other projects under consideration are a Dental Plan for Alliance members, and new ideas are always considered.
