Our next luncheon meeting (FREE) will be on Wednesday, September 19 at Saint Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 2301 Acton Highway, Granbury at noon. Our speaker will be Granbury Chief of Police Mitch Galvan.
Chief Galvan’s 28-year law enforcement career, all in Granbury, includes 12 years as Police Chief, seven years as a Criminal Investigator, six years as a Patrol Sergeant and three years as a Patrol Officer. He has earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Tarleton State University and is a graduate of the FBI’s National Academy and its Command College. Among his other accomplishments, he holds Master Peace Officer Certification, Mental Health Officer Certification, Firearms Instructor Certification and IPMBA Bicycle Certification. Chief Galvan has been married to his wife, Sara, for 30 years. They have two children: Morgan and Tres and three grandchildren: Wyatt, Amie and Joshua.
